| Note | Fantastically patterned and richly pigmented specimen with impressive colors, two amazing interrupted longitudinal dorsal line painted on a ivory/gray primary color. The exquisite form and hyper-glossy nacre lustre and slanted anterior siphon are impressive. Super shape and symmetry with strong inflation, modest extremity rostration with excellent weight/size ratio (56.7 grams). The melting integrated four shades of brown/nude pigmentation on the lateral walls along with the large spots on the columellar margin is impressive. The shell exhibits perfect extremities, aperture and base. Collected by Scuba diver at 25-35 meters on a gray sponge off Israelite Bay, Esperance, Western Australia in 1999. The shell displays a minor short glazed crease on the labral anterior ramp not visible in images. Grade: GEM minus. |
