Wonderfully patterned, exceptionally broad specimen from the Indian Ocean. The shell is moderately heavy, with moderate nacre gloss, perfect natural lip and spire. The shell presents with a lovely display of longitudinal flammules, that generate two distinct bands that define the dorsum. The body whorl is China-white with brown and grey flammules. The shell was collected by diver on sand at 3-4 meters off Bombay, India in the 90's. The shells has erosion of the protoconch, a perfect natural lip and a mild dorsal fold. Grade: F+++/GEM.
