| Note | Large, inflated and hyper-calloused member of this outstanding Hawaiian species. Brilliant color and reticulated pattern with blue/grey lacunae. Heavy shell, with thick calloused margins with moderate tuberculation and beautiful dark spotting extending over the margins and peripheral base . A solid shell, like a little rock (63.0grams). The shell has perfect extremities and a thick nacre gloss. Live collected and removed from under a ledge at Kaena Point. Oahu, Hawaii on a night dive at 8-10 meters in 2018. The shell is difficult to flaw. Grade: GEM. |
