| Note | Classic heavy, massive and well inflated hrper-glossy Hawaiian tiger. The shell has typical huge leopard spotting painted over a deep multicolored primary color bed with a distinct and impressive wavy red-brown doral line dead-center. The hues are blue/grey on the labral half and gold/grey/ ivory on the columellar half. Procelain white base with prefect teeth and major lateral wall spotting present.The shell exhibits perfect siphons, base and teeth and an impressive weight/size ratio (229.2 grams). The shell is a collectors piece with intense nacre gloss and dramatic visual impact. Captured by Scuba diver off Nanakuli, Oahu, Hawaii in 1/2019. Taken from home at 15 meters on a night dive along an open coral ledge among sponges and anemones. The schilderiana has a palpable wobble hidden on the dorsal line of the anterior ramp. Grade; F+++. |
