| Note | RARE GIANT SIZE WITH EXTRA GLOBOSE BODY SHAPE WOOOOW!! Giant great with 186.5 mm about. Specimens at this giant sizes are really hard to get nowadays even in any conditions. This special shell shows an special Globose- wide form with elevated dorsum with ball effect. This elegant and tremendous beauty shows an ultra rare curved, extreme wide and thick lip with the craziest elongated denticles and teeth all around the lip. A thick - wide unique parietal wall combined with an extended columellar lip, deeper inside the aperture the elevated columella folds. The fold in the top is so thick, large, elevated and white like a huge pearl formation. The ventral side is just a dream for display. The dorsal shows a multiple elegant spiral thick banding ribs all around with superb sculpture and fresh fantastic light and dark cream colors with shiny conditions. Really Ultra rare intact protoconch and formidable spire at this giant size. The shell present an Exquisite and Elegant glossy aperture with a porcelain cream colors. Giant great size for the population and hard to get this big sizes nowadays with Magnificent conditions. Super undulated lip with the best long incredible denticles and undulated form, amazing teeth in all lip. The real huge beauty. There is unfortunately a scar between the middle shoulder between dorsal and ventral side visible in the pictures and some minor extra defects but the rest of the shell is just stunning. Logically, this specimen is a strong specimen because it survived an attack and reached this enormous, unusual size. Without this scar the shell will a majestic piece. Hard to grade this with a scar, I would say. F++-F+++. For advancer collectors and lovers of this fantastic Family. One of my Favorite big shells in the pacific with so unique form and sculpture compare with all Tonas species and the biggest of the Maleas species. They are most night active , They are rarely hunting during the day. Hart to find in the day because they are most complete buried. Superb fresh piece!!! Found buried in sand under huge platforms stones about 10m deep. La Calechosa Bahia de Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. November 2025.
