An EXQUISITE specimen of this diminutive species, exhibiting rich and beautiful colour: cream and bluish olive green; flecked with tiny white triangular markings; caramel nodes; sporadic markings of dark chocolate below the sutures; yellow-cream apertural interior. Hypermature, with greatly thickened apertural lip, and columellar plaits. The specimen was formerly in the renowned Sekhon collection, and the original 1980s Sekhon label accompanies the specimen. An exquisite jewel-like specimen. Data: Gulf of Mexico, off Yucatan, Mexico; upon sand/mud substrate; 40-80 m; trawled; 1970s. Size: 28.5 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: 1) S. S.
