NoteWe collected this huge rosselli from 54 metres of water west of Red Bluff during May 2025. Big heavy flared brute. It is a crabbed shell we found trundling around in a sponge garden. When collected the dorsum of the shell was covered in bright green algae but it was bleached to clean it and the green algae turned white. It is a very large and different shell collected from the northern extremity of rosselli's geographic range. Its siphons are intact.
