Whilst using the ROV we come across some very dead shells laying on the bottom which we refer to as “rocks”. Some of these are collected and rather than discarding them. This shell has totally lost its nacre and is severely eroded. I offer it as I believe there are collectors who would appreciate the specimen despite its poor condition. The shell has been oiled with paraffin oil to gain an idea of the shells original colour. The oil can be removed by washing in hot soapy water. This regularis was collected from 146 metres of water south of Augusta during December 2025. Anterior siphon is chipped. Dead Collected Shell.
