| Note | DUNKERI - A NOT SO STABLE NAME. Densely covered with spines, the shape is similar to the 67 mm form from Olango Island pictured in PMM, but this one is even better. Most dunkeri have a dark red shell, as seen here near the navel, and sparse white spines. This specimen is different. It may not be dunkeri but a different species, who knows? This is also not a pacifica, which has a much rounder shell. A rare chamid and very old, almost a century.
