NoteOne very nice specimen of the only pectinid species found in northern Chile: Argopecten purpuratus. This one is a extremelly rare color variety: White! From about several thousand normal color ones you can get one completely white specimen, so very very hard to obtain. I have obtained only two in the last ten years. I am offering this one at a very low initial price due to the small size. The valves can still be cleaned, as this was only lightly cleaned with soft brushes.
