NoteThree very nice specimens of Brachidontes granulatus, collected fresh dead washed ashore, a small and very nice shallow water mytilid endemic from the SE Pacific. These specimens are from the variety which has extremelly concave and deep valves, giving a nice heart shape to the shell.
