After a busy few months at the end of 2025 we took a short break from the auction; but now we have returned and are ready for a HUGE year offering many exceptional shells! Here is a model representative of the "BIRD EGG" pattern which is occasionally shown by this highly variable species. Soft CREAM DORSUM is covered by small but distinct DARK FAWN SPOTTING and surrounded by a soft GREY MARGIN which makes for a delightful shell. Gem-/F+++ with a small indentation on the dorsum and a minute bite near the posterior canal but difficult to see. Found by Jon Daly in a narrow limestone ledge amongst sponges at 14m.
