| Note | WE ARE BACK FOR 2026!! After a busy few months at the end of 2025 we took a short break from the auction; but now we have returned and are ready for a HUGE year offering many exceptional shells! Here is a SUMPREME EXAMPLE of the uncommon "true" form of marginata. Often a pale colour with soft pattern, this specimen is the opposite! EXTREME ORANGE MARGINS surround the shell which has a DISTINCT DARK BIRD EGG SPOPTTED DORSUM which is as BEAUTIFUL AS YOU WILL SEE. STRONG CALLOUSED CANALS at each end of the shell enhance what is already a STUNNING piece and you will not see one as nice as this for some time! Gem- with a soft growth fold near the posterior aspect of the dorsum but still SUPERB. Found by Thomas Daly on a large yellow Geodia sp.B on the side of a medium limestone wall at 22m. North East of Rottnest Island, W.A. January 2026.
