| Note | Spectacular giant sized specimen with perfect siphons, rufinistic shaded white dorsum and 2.1 mm short of the WRS. The shell shows no botching areas on and spotless dorsum, rufinistic base pigmentation, excellent extremities and super flared sharp margins with strong corrugation and notable tuberculation. Wonderfully nacred with impressive rostration. Collected by Scuba diver Andrew Edinger from a geodia sponge at 23 meters off Starvation Boat Harbour, Hopetoun, Western Australia in 3/2015. Original handwritten collection tag from Andrew included. There are a series of soft typical longitudinal growth folds throughout the dorsum and a subtle crease on the anterior ramp as seen on the central left image of the collage. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
