| Note | Elongate, boldly inflated specimen with distinctive dark brown spotted patterning painted over a beautiful bold blue/grey and white primary hued dorsum. The lateral walls show a significant dispersion of strong marginal spotting on the caramel infused margins and lateral walls. The base shows various shades of coffee brown/black which is highlighted and framed by the dramatic margins. A beautiful larger specimen with a thick glossy nacre. Scuba diver harvested by Daniel Edinger while feeding on yellow/green sponges at 24-25 meters off the Dawesville Cut, Mandurah, Western Australia in 1/2019. Collection slip handwritten by Daniel included. The specimen exhibits a barely noticeable micro fleck on the labral posterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus. |
