| Note | Broadly fusiform specimen with a massive body whorl with six spinose varices. The primary white colored body whorl is complemented with a balanced array of radiating chestnut brown/black markings on the spiral cords and moderately foliated spines. The shell has a distinguishing dark seamless siphonal canal with a standout brown pinstripe that frames the porcelain aperture. The specimen was captured by Scuba diver on the side of Boulders at 10-12 meters north of Manzanillo, Jalisco, Mexico in 10/2016. The shell has slight erosion on some spine edges. Grade: F+++. |
