| Note | Characteristic strongly rostrated specimen with one distinctive large blotch mid-dorsum accentuated by the pale bluish primary body color and faintly blotched extremity tips. The specimen shows a strong glossy nacre, excellent extremities, wide and inflated dorsum and pristine porcelainized base. The pattern on this brevidentata is exquisite and notable, making it a desirable unique specimen for cypraea collectors. Captured by free diver at 1-1.5 meters feeding on algae under rocks at Dingo Beach, Queensland, Australia in 9/1985. Grade: GEM. |
