| Note | Distinctive and eye catching specimen with rich nacre gloss and a unique dorsal caramel/rust/brown balanced botching pattern fringed on both lateral walls by a striking blue halo. The darker tan fringed dorsal colored terminals are accentuated by the light brown/cream tinted siphon channels, The base is cream colored with flawless cream margins and greige colored extremities. Lifted by Scuba diver from a resident sponge in a cave at 10-15 meters off Sorrento Beach, Western Australia in 1996. The shell displays a dull nacre area on the posterior columellar ramp and a short transverse crease on the labral anterior ramp. Grade: F++/F+++. |
