| Note | On the large side, heavy and attractive olive shell from the Eastern Pacific. Wonderful display of geometric tenting over the primary pink primary colors complemented by dark flowing brown body tented patterns. This specimen has a hyper-glossy nacre, shows excellent tenting and a good collectors piece. The Tent Olive was taken at 15-18 meters plowing through sand off San Carlos Bay, Sonora, California, Mexico on night dive in the 70's by Scuba diver. A collection of thick growth folds on the leading edge of the body whorl with a perfect protoconch, spire and natural lip. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
