NoteThis profoundly deltoid-shaped Trona is characterized by a modest pitch black dorsal hump. The shell shows a strong weight/size ratio (48.4 grams) and ultra thick strong calloused and flanged margins. The specimen features a heavily glossed base and presents seamless extremities. Collected by Scuba diver at 1-3 meters between rock crevices off Pointe des Almadies, Dakar, Senegal, West Africa in 2018. The Trona displays two glazed mini-flecks mid-dorsum with micro-scratching, typical for the species. Grade: F+++.
