NoteExquisite, solid specimen from the Red Sea northern population. The exusta displays excellent nacre gloss, moderate inflation, perfect extremities and base. This specimen displays high dorsal profile with four strong chocolate brown color bands wrapping the dorsum. The shell has excellent form and a pitch black base. The exusta was taken by Scuba diver from under dead coral rubble at the base of a large reef in 10/2008 at 10-12 meters. The seashell was located and harvested off El Gouna, Hurghada, Egypt. The specimen has a small glazed inclusion on the posterior labral base and negligible blemishes on the dorsum. Grade: F+++/GEM.
