The shell presents the strongest Orange ventral color you will get , so fresh, hyper-gloss and unusual. This 100% shell to display the ventral side with unbelievable strong coloration. Apart from the color the lip is coming with extended wide posterior wing-lip making a crazy wide aperture effect combined with white -orange coloration. Some of the lip side presents a banding stronger orange pattern. And between the anal siphon in the upper posterior side near spire is completely thick with orange glossy amber coloration. Beautiful spire pattern and complete apex zone even is coming with light erosion. Normally, these species are found by compressor divers, who usually dive between 15 and 25 meters deep, where most populations of this species are found in my region. I found this one at a depth of 2 meters this is my second one. Never in my life have I found a specimen of this species at such a shallow depth. I was so impressed and shocked to find such a giant species and rare specimen in this area where I don't find them usually and not at shallow waters. This shell shows a Majestic and colossal size combined with elongated body form, superb periostracum all around, seldom seen apex, the most deep orange inner lip color form, the widest-elongated white glossy aperture, the most crazy extended intact lip, incredible and rare extended lip almost exceeding the spire. Terrific elevated colossal dorsum with massive body shape. Superb fresh piece!!! Original operculum is coming. There are some micro natural imperfections like drill holes around the apex not really detracting the impressive beauty of this giant masterpiece and some natural growth marks and tiny scars of life. F++-F+++. Found walking in sand between muddy small stones about 2m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2026.
