| Note | WE ARE BACK FOR 2026!! After a busy few months at the end of 2025 we took a short break from the auction; but now we have returned and are ready for a HUGE year offering many exceptional shells! Here is a SUPER RARE form of Z.friendii which is the link between Z.friendii and Z. friendii marina. This shell has the same shape as "marina" with a WIDE MID-SECTION and less-rostrate extremities than those from the shallow water (5-15m) reef located nearby, and identical pattern as many of the "marina" forms we have found in the past with the only thing missing is the set of full teeth on the columellar side of the base. A beautiful shell in its own right with a classic DARK DORSUM with a few pale BLUE and GOLD windows peaking through. A very rare form of Friendii of which is missing from most collections! Gem-/F++ with maybe some dorsal irregularities but mainly precautionary. Found by Thomas Daly on an orange Spirastrella sponge on medium profile reef at 28m.
