FORMOSA GOLD FROM JAPAN. Formosa Gold is extremely rare in Japan. Its shape is completely different from that of the Philippines and is missing from practically all collections. The spines are spatula-shaped, straight, and widen towards the ends. Breathtaking, amazing and fantastic.
Japan. Okinawa. sonabe (high profile reef). Collected by day dive at 120 ft on hard substrate on silt-covered rocks.
