| Note | An OUTSTANDING ULTRA-LARGE specimen of this singular, delicate, deep-water, endemic north-eastern Australian species. RARE QUALITY. Ultra-dense, well-formed pattern of high aesthetic merit. Rich and beautiful colour. Not freshly collected since the 1980s, and now obtainable only from old collections. Very difficult to get this size and quality now. Data: Off Tweed Heads, Northern Rivers Region, New South Wales, Australia; upon sand substrate; 130-220 m; trawled; 1986. Size: 150 mm. Grading: Fine+++ (minor smoothing to anterior canal).
