| Name | Umbilia armeniaca - SPECIAL COLOUR; THE BEST , Verco, 1912 |
| Size | 97.2 mm |

| Note | An EXCEPTIONAL ULTRA-LARGE specimen of the classic Great Australian Bight form, exhibiting atypical and beautiful colour and pattern: expansive dorsal region of lemonish white, with encroaching clouds of pale yellow-orange, to dramatic aesthetic effect. Extremely RARE QUALITY for such a large specimen – PERFECTION. Hypermature, with marked weight and solidity. Not freshly collected for almost three decades, and now obtainable only from choice old collections, and almost never like this. A very SPECIAL armeniaca for the Umbilia connoisseur. Data: Great Australian Bight, off Ceduna, South Australia, Australia; upon sand substrate; 140-150 m; 1999. Size: 97.2 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne. |
