| Note | Mature, symmetrically balanced and wonderfully pigmented jeaniana sherylae. The shell displays dorsal chocolate brown/black mottling, with a nude/grey/light brown and eggshell/grey-white pigmented primary dorsum The jeaniana shows a thick glossy nacre with perfect extremities. The shell displays modest rostration, moderate/strong marginal tuberculation and a glazed deep brown/burlywood hued base. It shows a moderate weight/size ratio (25.0 grams) with an excellent distribution of lateral wall spots complementing the striking apricot/nude lateral walls and margin. Collected by Scuba divert 35-40 meters while dining on a sponge off Point Quobba, Western Australia in 2022. The Zoila shows negligible blemishes. Grade: GEM minus. |
