| Note | Medium-sized helicoidal shell composed of 4¼ to 4½ convex whorls; protoconch smooth, teleoconch sculptured with fine axial striae. The aperture is subcircular with a delicate beige tint; parietal space narrow. The shell body is beige, ornamented with a distinct brown band visible along the suture of the penultimate whorl, adding an elegant and diagnostic contrast. Internal structure broken.
Collected beneath low shrubs in Córdoba Province, Argentina, in 2005, with reliable locality data that enhances its documentary and collection value. |
