NoteMemorable pattern, heavy and hyper-glazed nacre without nacre windows. The unique pattern and blue/gray/greenish lateral wall pigmentation extends to the anterior extremity rarely seen in this species. Rare collectors shell, heavier than a brick, thick margins and a color fused dark dorsal blotch and vague hint of a dorsal line(157.2 grams). Perfect extremities and thick nacre gloss highlight the colors that are hard to describe. Wide specimen at 64.0 mm. Nabbed at night by Scuba diver at 2-3 meters crawling on a open reef off East Shore, Oahu, Hawaii in 6/2018 during a night dive. The unique specimen exhibits glazed base delaminations and micro blemishes and a palpable wooble on the mid-dorsum. Grade: F+++.
