| Note | Beautifully patterned, rich colored, hyper-inflated specimen displaying various deep primary hues, a quasi-blue halo and a striking brown/orange dorsal line. It's large size, thick rich nacre, perfect extremities/base and inflated shape make this shell highly collectable. The specimen displays intense spotting, pink fringed margins, and an excellent size/weight ratio (103.4 grams). The thick rounded margins have a wonderful spotting pattern. The pantherina was plucked from a coral reef at 25 meter by a Scuba diver at night off Shalateen, Egypt in 2018. The specimen displays a wobble on the posterior ramp and minor blemishes and hard to see without magnification coral scratches on the anterior extremity. Grade: F+++. |
