| Note | Perfect elongate and immaculately patterned standout mappa from New Caledonia. Beautiful specimen by all standards. The shell shows perfect nacre gloss, thick rounded margins and perfect extremities. The specimen is highlighted by a orange aperture teeth and an incredible wide dorsal line with pink-hued margins and extremities. The shell is immaculate and glows electric red under Black Light illumination! Taken by Scuba diver in Nickel Bay, New Caledonia on night dive at 4-5 meters under coral ledge. The shell shows a shallow growth wooble on the labral mid and anterior wall. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
