| Note | Hyper-inflated, large, heavy and misty peach/gold pigmented beauty. Outstandingly symmetrical Umbilia trawled from southern Australia (114.3 grams). The specimen shows distinctive buff/brown/tan pigmented extremities, a large diffuse golden dorsal blotch and perfect extremities. Ultra-globular shell with deep nacre gloss, exceptional colors and fantastic shape, form and symmetry. Trawled at 140-150 meters on sand and rubble substrate in the Great Australian Bight, Ceduna, South Australia in 1994. The shell has the slightest minor subnacre wobble on the columellar dorsum and a micro sand grain inclusion on the mid-labral lateral wall. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
