An OUTSTANDING large specimen of this beautiful, endemic Marquesan subspecies. Very recently collected, the specimen exhibits ULTRA-RICH colour – the singular dark reddish ochre of fresh shells, along with honey golden terminals. Supremely well-formed dorsal maculae. Dorsum with distinct encircling band of darker colour, seen only in the finest examples. Characteristic well-developed, lengthened dentition. An opportunity for an advanced Cypraeidae connoisseur to acquire a 'BEST of the BEST', freshly collected specimen to maintain under careful curation.
