NoteMONSTER RARE SIZE WOOOOW!! With 56.6mm this is a real Giant size for the population and super hard to get. The color is just stunning and exceptional with dominant bluish background between the large dark brown woody spots all around combined with micro banding, the ventral side is coming with elegant purplish coloration between, the aperture is white-bluish with large and elongated size. Impressive colossal giant size for the population and species. Most of the giant sizes are really in bad conditions with scars, dense erosion all around and broken. This here is coming with erosion around the apex-spire with little scars and some light erosion near the shoulder- ventral side not really harming this rare giant beauty. Intact apex and thick lip. F++-F+++. For advancer collectors. This is one of the most Poisons conus in Mexico. Fortunately they are most night active and during the day time they are buried under the rocks, mud or corals. This species can be very variable that some of them do not seem to belong to the same species. Impressive variability of colors, forms and patterns. Found buried in sand under stones and near corals about 3m deep. Near Bahia de Piedras, Melaque, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2026.
