| Note | One very nice live-taken specimen of the Hard-to-Obtain limpet Scurria zebrina. This species is endemic of the Chilean coasts, and it only lives in central to southern Chile in flat faces of large boulders in the surf zone. These were live collected at low tide, among large waves. They are not abundant and are rather hard to find in the field, which, together with its rather dangerous habitat, makes them hard to collect in situ. This one has a very nice dorsum pattern. |
