| Note | ELEGANT PURPLE INNER LIP COLOR FORM!! This species are most hidden between live corals for protection but some of them when the corals grow fast, sometimes they get trapped and die inside the coral. This species is never Gem, here a really nice aperture with dark purple inner lip color and original seldom seen operculum. Great elongated form, some erosion and drill holes around as usual for the species. See pictures. Found attached inside dead corals about 5-6m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2026.
