Zoila friendii - Deep Water Specimen !!! , (J. E. Gray, 1831)
Size
64.5 mm
Locality
Margaret River, WA
Note
A little cutie, with the classic flared siphons; this friendii was ROV collected west of Margaret River in 130 metres of water. In depths between 100 and 130 metres we see a mix population of dark friendii like shells and white kostini like shells. This specimen is clearly closer to friendii. coloured mantle line and large brown blotches highlighted with electric orange margins - an original! Graded Fine+++ as growth irregularity can be felt on the dorsum.
