Two live collected specimens of the rare and only Arcidae species present in Chilean continental coasts: Acar pusilla. This is a rare species which lives in rocky areas under rocks where it is attached by its central byssus. They are usually covered with sponges and bryozoa, but these specimens are rather clean for the species.
