| Note | One rather large and selected live-taken specimen of Trochita trochiformis. These snails live on rocks and over the shells of other snail species. They usually have very ugly dorsum of the shells, like the specimen presented here, but this specimen is a live-collected, giant, and it has a very nice septum, which is often broken by the fishermen who only often collect them (they are very difficult to dettach). |
