| Note | Magnificent specimen—robust, solid, and notably well-sized for the species. Its entire surface is traversed by pronounced radial ribs in a delicate lavender hue, contrasted by the deep violet grooves they sculpt between them. The dorsum is enveloped in a striking blood-red coloration, true to its evocative name. Collected by a local diver at depths of 5–8 meters, from sandy substrate beneath rocks, in October 2024. The photograph does not do it justice—this is a piece that commands attention in hand. A rare opportunity for the discerning collector: its vivid chromatic contrast and impeccable preservation make it not only a specimen, but an acquisition that elevates any serious malacological collection. |
