The Volutidae specialist will be aware of the difficulty of obtaining a truly Gem specimen of this species. RARE PERFECTION. Hypermature, with greatly thickened, PERFECT apertural lip and siphonal canal. Data: Off Danao, Banguingui, Province of Sulu, Mindanao, Philippines; upon sand substrate; 100 m; tangle nets; 2024. Size: 115.3 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
