| Note | Lovely large marginata with moderate rostration, a relatively inflated body and excellent intense mega-large spotting/maculae painted on a primary flesh/tan/nude pigmented dorsum. This dark pattern and coloring is unique and uncommon by most standards.The specimen shows an excellent nacre gloss, flawless extremities with notable flaring and strong tuberculation of the margins. The specimen has excellent rostration, a China-white aperture and superb base spotting. The shell was taken by Scuba diver at 8-14 meters while sitting on a sponge perched inside a cave wall off Carnac Island, Mandurah, Western Australia in 3/2012. The specimen displays one growth wobble on the anterior columellar ramp. Grade: F+++. |
