| Note | Heavy and exceptional bright marmalade/sandstone orange tinted standout shell with the wide bicallosa form (37.4mm wide). The specimen shows a classic display of symmetrical and sparse dorsal spotting with superb and pronounced black/brown lines wrapping the margins. The shell is inflated and semi-deltoidal with a strong size/weight ratio (22.9 grams). The strong dorsum pigmentation, balanced symmetry and pronounced wide morphology makes this a particularly attractive collectors specimen. Captured by local fishermen off Balut Island, south Mindanao, Philippines using tangle nets at 120-150 meters in 2022. Grade: GEM. |
