| Note | Strong collection of color, form and symmetry. Stylish specimen, with continuous beige/light tan colored blade-like back turned varices that seem to pop-out off the medium brown body whorl due to the dramatic contrasting colors. The shell has excellent body whorl spiral cords, perfect aperture lips, spire and varix edges. The shell was grabbed by Scuba diver at 15 meters in mussel bed at Posiet Bay, south of Vladivostok, Russia, Sea of Japan in 2016. The shell shows some erosion and the older dorsal varices as they turn toward the shoulder. Grade: F+++. |
