| Note | Beautiful specimen with two crisp lineated strong bands complementing the highly glazed/glossy egg shell primary body whorl hue. The remarkable symmetry and form, almost flat spire and sharp shoulder angle are classic. Strong example of this uncommon species. The specimen was trawled at 80 meters off Racha Island, Phuket, Thailand in the 90s. The shell structurally raised area on ther spire (not considered a defect), generally flawless natural lip, with some shallow axial body whorl creases toward the spire. Grade: F+++. |
