| Note | Beautifully patterned, rich colored, hyper-inflated specimen displaying bluish deep primary hues and a striking brown/orange dorsal line. It's large size, thick rich nacre, perfect pink hued extremities/base and inflated shape make this shell impressive. The specimen displays intense spotting, pink fringed margins, and an excellent size/weight ratio (95.6.grams). The thick rounded margins have a wonderful spotting pattern. The pantherina was plucked from a coral reef at 25 meters by a Scuba diver at night off Shalateen, Egypt in 2020. The specimen displays a glazed shallow micro-pit on the labral central dorsum and minor blemishes on the anterior ramp. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
