| Note | Phenomenal form, strong color and wonderfully glossed spire characterize this unusual member of Olividae. High nacre gloss and light lovely lavender pigmentation off the spire, great tan to brown color transition on the spire banding and prominent thick lip. A collectors piece based in colour impact alone. Collected by trawler in 400 meters on mud/sand substrate off the Kimberley Coast, Western Australia, Australia in 3/2007. The specimen shows a notable growth interruption fold on the columellar lateral wall and one small chip of the anterior natural lip. Grade: F++. |
