| Note | Another SUPER UNIQUE specimen on offer in this auction, this time a DWARF eludens eludens. Only two DWARF eludens have ever been found amongst the normal sized specimens on the traditional eludens grounds on the large sows' ear host sponges. Only two below or measuring 50mm, this being one of them, both found in 2025. No World Record Size (SMALLEST) exists for Zoila eludens eludens for the very reason, none have been found until recently. This specimen features are characteristic of eludens, classical shape, flared base, colouration and cream/yellow interior colour. Graded F++/F+++ with a small dorsal crease. Diver taken in 25M-28M inside a large Sows' Ear sponge, March 2025. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
