Over the mast couple of years the population of L.mappa from around the known habitats across the Marquesas Islands have started dramatically reducing in number which adds to the rarity of this subspecies! This magnificent shells is graded Gem and would make for a great addition even amongst the advanced mappa collectors. Live collected crawling at night amongst small boulders and growths at 31m.
