A MOST RAVISHING SHELL: THE PHILIPPINE WATERING POT. Occasionally the Philippine watering pot, now in the genus "Verpa", is a little unusual in shape. We here have a shell which is broad and with a frankly superb "crown". The two valves are reduced to a few mm and are only partly visible on one side of the tube. This is also placed below what some call "the neck". A superb sample. For the lovers of strange and curious mollusks.
